This course is specifically designed to meet the needs of the fastest growing market in the laser industry, Aesthetic Lasers. The use of these lasers has quickly moved from the closely safety regulated hospital environment to the completely self regulated private industry – whether in a doctor’s office, private clinic, Spa or beauty salon. Most LSO courses are focused on surgical or industrial lasers, which is not relevant to the medical aesthetic or cosmetic world.
This course will prepare the attendee for the role of Laser Safety Officer (LSO) in accordance with the ANSI Z136.3 Standards, Safe Use of Lasers in Health Care, and has been designed to keep you on the leading edge of mandatory laser safety requirements and program administration for the Aesthetic market in Canada.
